Gage Week 1

Day 1 (Sunday)

With the roll of the dice, Gage was selected as our first guy to play. After building both houses I head back over to Gage's to start his first 3 days. I decided I would try the 3 days at first since that is what the rules call for. When I got there, Gage wasn't home. I went searching and finally found him at Landgraab Sell n' Swap. I wasn't sure what he was doing there. I checked in his memories and in his employment panel and he didn't work there. I also saw that the place was closed. Hmm he doesn't have the klepto trait, but he is behind the counter at the register. Did I just catch him doing something he wasn't suppose to? He seemed pretty upset that I came back to him, not letting him finish off whatever he was planning.

He leaves the store and starts to head home. I am not sure I mentioned this in the introduction, but I will mostly be letting them do their own thing. I have to control them sometimes, but only if they need it for work, needs, wishes or to romance someone they are interested in. Mostly though, I'll let them do what they want so their personalities will shine through.

I followed him home and caught a glimpse of some townies that I haven't seen in a long time. I had decided to do this challenge in Sunset Valley, which I haven't actually played in years.The makeovers start.

Once home, Gage shows off his grumpy side. I think he's still pissed at me for catching him at the store.

Only having 3 days with each guy, I had to get things rolling, so Gage heads down to the gypsy wagon and applies for the fortune teller job listed in the paper.

After that, I again let him decide what he wanted to do. He saw a young boy by the name of Miraj and decided to start a conversation with the kid. I thought for sure he would mock him or something, but nope, they just chatted for a bit.

After that he asked Miraj if he wanted a ghost story. Miraj said yes and Gage starts with his story. I thought now he will show his evilness and scare the pants off the little twerp!

He didn't, in fact, VJ (I believe Miraj's brother) even came over to listen to the story.

VJ got bored towards the end and left to go play chess. This didn't infuriate Gage like it should have, instead he breaks down in front of everyone.

This is not evilness I tell you!

The day goes on and Gage's evil, grumpy traits just don't seem to be making an appearance. His loser trait does a bit, but for the most part he has a great time chatting and telling stories. Geoffrey Landgraab shows up and Gage heads over to him to 'bore him to death' but has some issues with the slope and decides against it. Noo! Come on, do something!

He does, another ghost story, with Geoffrey as part of the audience now.

VJ, Geoffrey and Gage chat a bit longer until Gage is so tired he's ready to pass out.

As Gage leaves, he overhears his new acquaintances making fun of him. This again did not infuriate him, he just left and went home. Wimp, where is the fighting!

Back home, Gage is starving. He wanted to make something on the stove, but with his unlucky trait I decided he'd better have at least one cooking skill first before attempting that. So Autumn Salad it was, with no nicked fingers or anything.

After dinner Gage heads outside to check out his new telescope. He doesn't have much of a look into peoples houses, but the view was gorgeous!

Hmm, wonder what someone is doing in that light house?! Either that or he's peeking in on the Wolff's. At least I think that is who lives in that house there.

His first day comes to an end. No fights, no tantrums and nothing very exciting. He is not proving to be an evil sim at all yet.

Day 2 (Monday)

Gage wakes up well rested and in a good mood (crap!) and decides to try out his new dart board before work. Well at least he sucks at it!

With no money at all, we sold a couple things we did not need at the moment. The time portal brought us over $700 and then the Uni Kit brought us $20. The Uni Mascot was a dork though and brought us 3 kits, so we actually made $60 for those, bringing his money up to $785. Gage then pays his bills so nothing is repo'ed. How the heck are his bills $473 for one day so far?! Ugh well, hopefully he'll get some money working.

Speaking of work, he'd better hurry as not not be late!

Work was pretty uneventful except the fact that it looked like he pissed his pants all day.

After work, Gage needed to blow off some steam and needed a drink, so he heads down to Mick's Karaoke Bar. It is actually right next to his house, I thought maybe he'd become a regular.

He meets Thorton Wolff and strikes up a conversation.

Then he buys himself a drink and gets "juiced". EA's word for drunk? We'll go with he got drunk.

Gage then becomes the life of the party (a whole 3 people) and starts whaling on the karaoke machine. He didn't get any boo's but he didn't really have much of an audience either.

 He then hulks out. I am not sure what caused this little piss session, but at least it showed me he does have it in him!

The glorious moment was short lived. He didn't get any madder or do anything else. Instead he headed over to Xavier and started to gossip. *face palm* Not evil Gage!

Oh, what is this? A not so nice act!? Yay, finally he does something a little evil....ish.

With that, he headed home and went to sleep.

Day 3 (Tuesday)

Gage had the day off and the wish to go to the summer festival, so after breakfast he headed over there. He stands around a bit, and then sees someone of interest. Jamie Jolina is the first girl he meets and talks to.

The flirting starts with the both of them. Could she be the one? She is a cutie, and they would make cute babies!

Gage surprises Jamie with a bouquet of flowers. Pink ones to match her, well everything!

Then they headed over to the soccer field and played together. Jamie wasn't very good at first.

She quickly caught on though, and soon was taunting Gage's every kick.

Before Jamie could have her turn, she had to use the facilities. Gage went over to the bench to wait for her, and fell asleep. She must of left or forgot, because she never did come back.

When he woke, the park was pretty much empty. He grabbed a snow cone for dinner, and then headed back home.

When he got home, he didn't immediately go inside to bed, instead he walked to the edge of the driveway and gave a very sad face. Did he know our time together was up? Did Jamie's disappearance upset him more than he was letting on?

I don't know the answers to these questions, and our time was almost up. He headed inside after that and went to sleep. I watched him (so creepy) until 6am when it was time to switch households.

What will we come back to? We'll have to wait to find out.
